You can inquire or book your painting directly from the site. When your special day arrives Johnathan will be there to capture it in paint.

Are live paintings completed during the event?No. After each event, we bring the live painting back to our studio for finishing touches.

Can you paint custom sizes?Yes! We can paint sizes outside of those that are offered on our site. Please contact us and we will be happy to give you a personalized quote.

Can we gift a painting as a surprise?Yes! Could there be a more special gift? We love sharing successful surprise live or commission paintings pulled off over the years! Need ideas? We can certainly help brainstorm on our creative call.

What medium do you paint in?We typically use acrylic paint during our live wedding paintings. They are fast-drying and odorless. In the studio we bring in oil paints to add more color and depth to help finish the piece.

How much space do you need for live painting?Usually, a 10x10 ft area is sufficient for guests to gather to view the painting throughout the event.

Do you require a deposit?At Artfully Wed, we're thrilled to embark on the creative journey with you, transforming your special moments into timeless works of art. To secure your date and initiate the process, we require a 25% deposit. Here are the details: Live Wedding Paintings: - A 25% deposit is required to secure the date for your live wedding painting. - The remaining 75% of the payment is due one week prior to the event date. Photo Commission Paintings: - A 25% deposit is required to initiate the creative process for your commissioned painting. - The remaining 75% of the payment is due by the painting delivery deadline. Accepted Payment Methods: Venmo Paypal Cash Checks * Please refer to our refund policy for information regarding cancellations and deposit refunds. We aim to be transparent and fair, considering the commitments involved in our creative process. Why a Deposit? The deposit ensures that we can allocate resources, secure necessary materials, and dedicate our time and expertise to create a piece of art that exceeds your expectations. Flexible Payment Options: Choose the payment method that suits you best—we're here to make the process as convenient as possible. When do we decide the moment or memory to be painted?Our creative consult is leading up to the event or for photo commissions after you’ve submitted our booking form. This is where we’ll iron out the details around your vision for your artwork.

Can you travel to our event?Possibly! Many of our events have been out of state. Let us know where your event will be, and we will let you know if we can make it. Please note that there may be an additional charge for travel.

Will I need to purchase a frame?Framing is completely optional! The painting arrives without a frame with edges painted and the back properly wired. We’re always happy to help consult on framing options if that is needed.

How will the painting arrive?Our paintings are professionally packed and shipped or hand delivered.

Can you assist with additional prints?Yes! We are happy to assist you in bringing your painting to life through additional printed pieces, such as thank-you cards, art prints and personal stationery.

What is your refund policy?At Artfully Wed, we understand that circumstances may arise leading to event cancellations or changes. We strive to be transparent and fair in our refund policy to ensure a positive experience for our clients while considering the commitments involved in our creative process. Live Wedding Paintings: 90 Days from the Event: Clients can receive a full deposit refund if they cancel their live painting service 90 days prior to the event. 60 Days from the Event: Clients can receive 50% of their deposit back. 30 Days from the Event: Unfortunately, no deposits can be refunded within 30 days of the event. This is due to potential incurred costs, work already initiated, and declined opportunities that may have arisen close to the event date. Photo Commissions: 90 Days from the Deadline: Clients can receive a full deposit refund if they cancel their photo commission within 90 days from the deadline. 60 Days from the Deadline: Clients can receive 50% of their deposit back. 30 Days from the Deadline: Unfortunately, no deposits can be refunded within 30 days of the deadline. This is due to potential incurred costs, work already initiated, and declined opportunities that may have arisen close to the deadline. We want to emphasize that our goal is to work collaboratively and understand the unique circumstances of each situation.
